WAND HDC

The WAND Handheld Data Collector (WAND-HDC) is an easy-to-use handheld tool that wirelessly activates and then collects a thickness reading from a WAND sensor in less than a second when close by. The interface displays the wall thickness, the ultrasonic A-scan, and the sensor RFID information. The WAND is designed so that anyone can take an ultrasonic thickness measurement with the press of a button.
Sensors 600x500

WAND Sensors

The WAND ultrasonic sensors are intrinsically safe (ATEX Zone 0 rated) and are permanently installed to the surface of pipework and vessels. The thin, battery-free sensors are activated wirelessly by a WAND data collector to provide accurate, reproducible wall thickness readings from the exact same location each time. Each sensor has a unique RFID for traceability and automated data management.

The low-profile design allows the sensors to be embedded easily underneath insulation, coatings and composite repairs. Measurements can then be wirelessly acquired through the overlying material. The sensors can also be integrated into customer products.

RDC 600x500

WAND RDC

The WAND Remote Data Collector (WAND-RDC) is an intrinsically safe (ATEX Zone 0 rated), battery-powered device designed to be used with up to 8 WAND sensors. The WAND-RDC can be programmed to collect ultrasonic thickness data from the sensors at predefined intervals and at a predetermined schedule. It can then be retrieved wirelessly using long-range Bluetooth.

Reach Wand

Reach

The REACH is an accessory for the WAND-HDC that can extend up to 4m. Simply attach the REACH to the WAND-HDC so data can be collected from the WAND sensors installed in difficult access locations.

Echo

Echo

The ECHO is designed to work with the WAND sensors to extend the measurement position for the data collector. It is ideal for difficult access locations such as underneath insulation or confined access areas. One end of the ECHO can be applied above the preinstalled WAND sensor (which can be under coating) while the other end is used to collect data using the data collector.

IDART

iDART

The Inductosense Data Analysis and Reporting Toolkit (iDART) is a cloud-based software package for use with the Inductosense WAND technology. iDART enables configuration of the WAND data collectors, as well as management, analysis and export of the data.
